The difference for Japanese version and proxy version in anime figure

The main difference between Japanese version and proxy version (also known as international or overseas version) is the market they are intended for.

The Japanese version of an anime figure is typically designed and produced for the Japanese domestic market. They may have exclusive features, packaging or special editions that are only available in Japan. Japanese versions of figures may also be released earlier than their international counterparts.

Besides, the Japanese version of an anime figure often comes with authorized and exclusive laser stickers that the proxy version will not have. The stickers are a casual way for buyers to differentiate between versions of the anime figure.

On the other hand, proxy versions of anime figures are intended for the international market outside of Japan. They are often distributed by authorized producer. The proxy version may have different packaging or may come with additional accessories or variations that are different from the Japanese version.

Additionally, proxy versions of anime figures are often priced higher than their Japanese counterparts due to import fees and other associated costs. However, they may be more easily accessible for customers who are unable to purchase the Japanese version due to their location or limited availability.

But the funny thing is, in certain countries like Malaysia, the price of the Japanese version is higher and more expensive than the proxy version because, as hobby figure collectors, we believe that the Japanese version is rarer and has a higher collection value.

Conclusion,
"There won't be huge differences between the Japanese version and proxy version of the same anime character, so just get the figure if you really like it!
